A strong Mid Centruy piece composed in 1959 by Nannot de Groot. Comes displayed in the original Mid Centruy modern thin wood frame with hanging wire on verso. A stunning piece with thick use of impasto oil paint, and gestural brushwork throughout. Signed and dated upper right.

CONDITION: The painting is in overall very good condition for the time period with some scattered craquelure found mostly on the upper right and a few small areas of paint loss, as well this original frame shows some imperfections like chipping and scratches.
