A wonderful Maritime port scene in the city Rouen, France. It is reminiscent of the Parisian post impressionists from the time. The details are wonderfully done with beautiful brush work and a rich, lush color pallet. The impressions of the porte in the summer is a charming work packed with with beautiful details of the ship vessels and port cranes on the Seine river, showing in the background the building of the city and the town's Cathedral in the distance. This piece is signed by the artist lower left and titled lower right and it comes housed in a gold tone wood frame with linen inner and hanging wire on verso ready to be displayed.
