In this piece, the artist depicts his subject in an abstract and impressionistic way, capturing the busy Cafés in the streets of Paris portrayed in the distance. The artist mostly used oil with a pallet knife, with impasto paint, and then by using subtle brush strokes with a wide color pallet, a beautiful rendition of the street with figures is accomplished.
