A beautiful oil painting by the French artist Jack Prudnik. Prudnik was an American painter known for his colorful cityscapes depicting the times of his generation. This painting is a wonderful example of his work from the prime of his career, depicting fishermen gathering along the quays of the Seine River with the iconic Pont Neuf bridge spanning the water in the background. The details are done with intention as Prudnik captures the architecture of Paris so beautifully; you can feel the energy of the day and the excitement. The painting is signed by the artist lower right and it comes housed in an ornate, wood-carved frame from the period with hanging wire ready to be displayed.
